Carlo Goldoni’s timeless 18th century The Servant of Two Masters is a fast-paced comedy of mistaken identities, secret romances, and one very hungry servant who decides to double his income — by serving two bosses at once! As Truffaldino scrambles to keep his schemes (and meals) straight, chaos, confusion, and hilarity explode onstage. Join the students of Theatre Edison High School in their exploration of the world of commedia dell’arte filled with zany stock characters, clever wordplay, and nonstop physical comedy “lazzi” that satirize the wealthy and center the voices of servants and laborers.
